Fin Watcher

A Simple Finance Tracker – No Ads, No Subscriptions, No Cloud. Just Works.

Why I Built This App

I needed a simple way to track my money. No accounts. No subscriptions. No syncing with some cloud-based service I don’t trust. I just wanted something that could help me avoid overdrafts by keeping track of my recurring expenses, credit card bills, and upcoming payments—without all the unnecessary extras.

I tried Google Sheets, Excel, Numbers, and other apps, but they were either too complicated, too manual, or wanted me to pay a monthly fee just to track my own money.

Nothing worked the way I needed—so I built my own.

Then I showed it to my colleagues, and they had the same frustration. So I figured, why not share it? Maybe it can help you too.

What This App Does (Without the BS)

I’m not a big company. This is a one-person project (well, almost—my 11-year-old gave me some feature ideas).

Who Is This For?

If you:

Then this might be the app you’ve been looking for.

What’s Next?

I built this for myself, and it works. But if you try it and think, “Hey, it would be great if it had [X] feature,” let me know.

My 11-year-old already suggested an Undo button—so that’s coming soon. If you’ve got an idea, I’m happy to hear it.

This app is simple, private, and functional. No ads, no cloud, no hidden fees—just an easy way to track your money.

Give it a shot. If it helps you, great. If not, no worries. Either way, let me know what you think.
